I was asked by Restroom Association (Singapore) to help out with the designs of some boards needed for Project Million Lotus, an event at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.
Theme was Compassion, and objective of the designs was to showcase what their organisation was about. It was pretty last minute, so I only had 3 days to get all the designs together!
Each wooden “pillar” looks like a petal of a lotus flower (about 9 feet tall), and there were 3 sides to design.

This was the pillar in raw form:

These are the designs I did:

Content of comic strip was requested by the client. It’s basically about the RAS Superhero and RAS ambassadors educating school kids to have compassion for toilet cleanliness.
This is a toilet cubicle with the RAS logo.

This part shows the theme of Compassion.

And here are the final products at the event itself!
The comic strip goes onto the “toilet door”, but the door knob fell off. =_=

And after you open the toilet door, you see the cubicle! Clean cubicle!

And here you see kids washing hands (ie practising good toilet habits).

I thought the finished products look really good (my clients loved them), though I was a little disappointed with the comic strip. The colours didn’t turn out very vibrant.
But overall, I am very happy! First time my artwork has a chance to be exhibited! Hahahaha!

That’s me, the designer!
