While I was cleaning my room, I found some ancient drawings from about a year ago.
Here are some of the media I experimented with in Year 1’s basic drawing class.
I must say that my favourite is still watercolour!
I suck at charcoal and pastel was erm, okay… I got a hang of it after a while but nah, it’s too messy for my liking, what with all the bread crumbs falling all over my lap. (FYI, we use white bread to erase our charcoal/pastel drawings. Haha!)
Okay, let me first highlight to you that the images look dreamy and blurry not because I shook my camera, or because I photoshopped it. It is like this in real life – blurry and dreamy effect.
I think I smudged the powder too much. It’s addictive. Haha!
Oh well, I didn’t get an A grade for these 2 pieces. Don’t expect too much!

Any charcoal/pastel experts out there? Advice or comments please!

The clay pot worked out very well.
